Transportation networks
One of the great advantages of Quinte is its location, combined with an excellent transportation network that provides great access to many major markets.
Quinte is well-served by the local highway network. Its' location on the Highway 401corridor, a four-lane controlled access highway, gives the area great access to all of the major markets in Southern Ontario as well as a route to major border crossings. Eight interchanges service Quinte, and all local Communities have good access to the highway, through our superb road network.

Canadian national/Canadian Pacific
Both railways provide freight and express service to Quinte. This can be done on an interchange basis so that one is not restricted to one of the railways. There is overnight express service to Toronto and Montreal as well as intermediate points. Both railways have piggyback and container facilities available. Rail sidings exist or could be extended to many of our development sites. Detailed information regarding rail sidings to individual sites can be obtained when specific site have been identified.
The Quinte region is within a short drive to several major international and domestic airports.
Toronto Pearson International Airport is approximately an hour and a half drive west of Belleville and provides regular domestic and international commercial, chartered and cargo flights to many US and overseas destinations.
Other accessible international airports are located at Ottawa's MacDonald-Cartier Airport and the Dorval and Mirabel Airports in Montreal.
Nearer to hand, Kingston's Norman Rogers Airport is located approximately 50 minutes east of Belleville and provides regular commercial flights to and from Toronto Pearson International Airport, as well as servicing private, chartered and cargo aircraft flight services.
