Quinte Health Care Corporation (QHC) consists of four fully-accredited hospitals: Quinte Healthcare Belleville General (in the city of Belleville); Quinte Healthcare North Hastings (in the town of Bancroft, Ontario); Quinte Healthcare Prince Edward County Memorial (in the town of Picton, Ontario); and Quinte Healthcare Trenton Memorial (in the city of Trenton). QHC was incorporated in November 1998 because of the Health Services Restructuring Commission (HSRC) directions to amalgamate the four hospitals. The 2000/01 operating budget for QHC is $90.7 million. Corporate headquarters are located at the Belleville General site.

Belleville General currently provides primary and secondary care with a total of 206 beds, and offers a full range of clinical and diagnostic services, including: Cardiology, Complex Continuing Care, Emergency Services (24 hours a day, every day), Intensive Care, Laboratory, Maternal/Child Service (including Obstetrics, Neonatal Care, Paediatrics, Children's Treatment Centre), Medical Service, Oncology Service, Outpatient Clinics, Orthopaedics, Pharmacy, Psychiatry/Mental Health Services, Radiology (including CT Scanning and Nuclear Medicine), Rehabilitation, and Surgical Service. Belleville General also has a 24-hour-a-day Emergency Department, clinics, diagnostics, support services, and outreach programs.

Prince Edward County Memorial currently provides primary care with 38 beds and a number of clinical and diagnostic services including: Cardiology, Complex Continuing Care, Emergency Services (24 hours a day, every day), Laboratory, Medical Service, Obstetrics (low-risk), Outpatient Clinics (including Crisis Intervention; General Surgery; Gynaecology; Internal Medicine; Orthopaedics; Urology), Paediatrics, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Psychiatry/Mental Health Crisis Clinic, Radiology, and Surgical Service (outpatient only).
